It is that time of the month again....YUP time for some retail therapy!! I have been soo stressed out at work and I feel like I deserve to spend some major money on myself! And shopping always makes me feel better, although I'm sure my check book will have to disagree with that! Haha!
So, I got together with 2 of my sexy girlfriends and we headed out to the Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon, Ca! My goal was to stick to a budget of less than $500, but that went out the window as soon as we got there! The first store that we went to was Michael Kors and I was in heaven! I love his hand bags and literally had to tell myself that I already bought a new hand bag a couple of weeks ago, therefore I really don't need another one right now. But there was this adorable brown zebra print hand bag that was screaming my name, so to compromise with myself, I bought a clutch instead, which is considered a half of a hand bag, right? Haha, there are so many ways that I have to trick myself into still getting what I want...I know it's a little sad!
The clutch that I bought is black/grey zebra print with silver metal studs on it, can you tell I like zebra print? I also bought a pretty white/grey printed halter dress.
Then it was off to Banana republic, one of my fave stores for buying the basics. I ended up buying a pair of cuffed capri jeans, which fit like a glove! I also got a gorgeous strapless white/grey satin dress, which was a little big on top, but fixable, because the smallest size they had available was 0 and I really needed a petite 0. And lastly I got 2 printed shirts that I can wear to work or wherever.
Next, we went to Aldo, one of my fave shoe stores because they always have killer high stilettos! I bought two pairs of stiletto peep toe pumps, one in black color and one in a nude color. A girl can't have enough shoes so when there is a style you like, you might as well buy a few colors of of it! :) I also bought 2 necklaces and a pair of earrings.
Then, we went to Saks 5th Avenue Off 5th and this is one of my fave stores for buying designer jeans!! I bought a pair of Paige premium jeans (best fitting jeans ever) and also a pair of Seven jeans.
Finally, I thought our shopping excursion had come to an end until we ended up going into the L'occitane, where of course I HAD to buy some hand lotion!
So after the day was over I added up my receipts to see how much money I ended up spending and the total came to about $850!! Yikes! I wasn't anticipating spending that much, but damnit it was ALL worth it!! Not only did I come away with amazing goodies, but I had so much fun hanging out with my girls all day! So today was definitely a SUCCESS!!
